South America Day 1: Leaving on a Jet Plane
The alarm clock screamed like a war siren in my ears. After a 30 second long fight between my mind and body, I was finally able to open my eyes. My room looked like a mess. My brilliant plan of leaving the bar early to go home and finish packing had failed drastically as usual. The only things I could see in my “to-be-packed” basket were a used towel and a Mexican sombrero which I had no memory of buying or stealing the night before. After a quick glaze at the clock I slowly calculated that I had 2 hours to reach my airport-shuttle and made a run for the shower.
